City College Plymouth is a college of higher education located in south west England, UK. It was formerly known as Plymouth College of Further Education, but was renamed on 1 January 2007.

 

City College Plymouth is a government-funded public higher education college established in 1889. In 2016, it was rated as a good and outstanding college by Ofsted.

 

In recent years, the college has been committed to providing high-quality courses accredited by the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and other UK educational institutions. The college places particular emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics education (STEM). In September 2017, in order to promote STEM, a new teaching building was built.


City College Plymouth is also a partner of the University of Plymouth, with close cooperation in academics and various international projects, providing students with excellent further study courses. In the 2020 UK National Student Survey, City College Plymouth was voted by students as one of the happiest students in the UK.

Award-winning achievements

School Cooperation

PDVL is the exclusive representative of Plymouth City College in the Asia Pacific region and we have been working closely with the college on student recruitment and exchange programs. In addition, PDVL invites Plymouth City College every year to bring guest lectures and trial classes to local high schools across Asia, as well as bringing more British students to Asia through the Turing Project to promote academic and cultural exchanges.
